Our Sunday service is a male-led, traditional service in which we sing acapella hymns, share the Lord’s Supper, listen to a sermon, and spend time in prayer. Children’s church for pre-K through 5th grade is provided each week except the first Sunday of the month. This service usually lasts about 75 minutes.
Saturday Night
6:00 PM -7:00 PM
This service has instrumental, contemporary worship music along with practical teaching (a sermon) and an opportunity to share the Lord’s Supper together. This service is led by both men and women and it usually lasts about an hour. Children’s church for pre-K through 5th grade is provided each week except the first Sunday of the month.

OUR MUSIC
On Sunday morning we sing without instrumental accompaniment. There is a rich and beautiful tradition of a capella worship in our heritage that we dig into during this time. On Saturday night we use lyric videos from many of the well-known, contemporary Christian artists, like Hillsong, Elevation, Chris Tomlin and many others.
LORD’S SUPPER
At each of our weekend services, we share the Lord’s Supper which is a small piece of bread and a small cup of grape juice. This is a special time to remember what Jesus has done for us and how, regardless of our past lives, we have a place at the table with each other and with our Savior. On Sundays these emblems are served to you and on Saturdays we invite everyone to come forward to partake in small groups (don’t worry, you will not get left out!).
OFFERING
Giving is incredibly important for the follower of Jesus. It gives us the opportunity to emulate the character of God who gave Jesus for our sins. Giving also gives us the opportunity to proclaim our trust in God. The offering every week is also how we pay our employees and the bills. However, if you are our guest you do not need to feel any compulsion from us that you should put anything in the offering plate. The offering is primarily for people who call the Grants Church of Christ home.
preaching
In each service, our minister, or at times another member of the church, will stand up to preach a message from Scripture. Whoever preaches will make an effort to dive into the Holy Spirit inspired Scripture in search of encouragement, inspiration, and instruction for life. It is a time that you will hopefully find meaningful to your every-day activity even if you are not sure exactly what you believe about God, Jesus and the Bible.
The invitation
Some churches make a big deal out of the invitation. You will not feel pressured here. When the message leads to it, you will be given the opportunity to pray and share with our minister or others. Many times there are impromptu prayer circles that form up around somebody who is needing encouragement or support. Take advantage of these times if you need them.
